Quality statute

I, Marjan Krijgsveld, treating healthcare psychologist at Psycheheel, am registered in the BIG government register under number 49915450025. Registration in this register means that you are well-trained and qualified, adhere to the professional code, and are subject to disciplinary law.

Psycheheel is registered in the trade register of the Chamber of Commerce (Kamer van Koophandel) under number 74441396.

Membership of Associations and LVVP Accreditation Certificate
To stay sharp and meet all quality standards, I am a member of the National Association of Independent Psychologists & Psychotherapists (LVVP). Every five years, I undergo a review by them to ensure that I meet all standards. I successfully completed this review in mid-2021. Please see the attached PDF for proof if desired.

The LVVP also provides valuable support, such as in creating an informative client brochure. I send this brochure with your invitation for an intake, but you can also download it here.

Complaints procedure
Of course, I try to prevent complaints. But we are all human, and mistakes or misunderstandings can unfortunately occur. Do you have a complaint? Please contact me, Marjan Krijgsveld, first. I always take your complaint seriously, and together we will look for an appropriate solution.

If we are unable to resolve it together, you can file an official complaint through the LVVP. You can read more about this on their website.
Is your complaint still not resolved? Or can we not reasonably expect you to discuss the complaint with your therapist and/or the complaints officer? Then you can submit your complaint to the disputes committee for independent mental health practices in The Hague. This disputes committee issues binding decisions, which can also cover any potential damage claims up to a maximum of €25,000. LVVP members are affiliated with the healthcare disputes committee in The Hague. The disputes committee has set up a digital portal for patients of independent psychologists/psychotherapists. The Disputes Committee for Independent Mental Health Practices is accessible both digitally and by mail (P.O. Box 90600, 2509 LP The Hague). There are costs associated with using the disputes committee.
Suspicions of domestic violence?
If there are suspicions of domestic violence or child abuse, Psycheheel follows the reporting code as described on this website.
